What is the difference between 5%, 20%, and 35% window tint?

The lower number the darker the tint. Therefore 5% tint allow 5% of the visible light to penetrate while 35% allows 35% of the light to penetrate.

This film should be used with the wet application method after the surface has been cleaned and no oils, grease, wax, or other contaminants are on the surface.
